- Description
Rectangular vessel with a lid (box). The lid is decorated with a zoomorphic head in relief (feline) whose body is depicted reclining in a seated position. Its features include a crest, feline ears, an open snout, and a band necklace. The rim of the lid has vertical incisions.
The rectangular base does not appear to belong to the lid. It has a rounded lip, rounded edges and corners, straight walls, and a flat base.
* Interestingly, fragments of human bones and teeth are still preserved inside the vessel.
