- Description
A polychrome vase decorated with two vertical panels on opposite sides, separated by two columns of pseudoglyphs in orange outlined in black, framed by two vertical red bands and two vertical black lines.
Each panel features a standing anthropomorphic figure with an orange-red body, holding what appears to be a torch, a feathered banner, or a long-stemmed flower. The first figure, with a bird’s head or mask, wears a tall headdress and a cream-colored loincloth with two red bands.
The face of the second figure is depicted frontally. It has large, round eyes, a prominent nose, a voluminous belly, short legs, and long arms. It holds the same artifact as the first figure and wears a red and cream-colored loincloth.
* The surface of the vessel is orange and black on a cream background. It has a rounded rim, a curved-diverging wall, and a flat base. The interior is orange. The exterior rim is red; two black lines frame the scene.
