- Description
Zoomorphic sculpture in the Cotzumalguapa style, carved from basalt in the shape of a feline head—possibly a jaguar. The large head features round eyes, an open maw with visible fangs, and ears in relief. It wears a headdress with braided ornamentation and large ear ornaments.
The back features a long tenon, suggesting it may have served as an architectural peg used to decorate a façade.
